The Rev. Tom Gartin
Rector

Rev. Tom was called as Priest-in-Charge to Faith Church in August, 2020, and became Rector in September, 2022. He has an M.Div. from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. After ordination in 2018, he served as Assistant Rector and later Interim Priest-in-Charge at St. Augustine in Rocklin until being called to Faith. He also serves around the diocese in ministries for abuse prevention and anti-racism training.
He grew up in Rocklin as part of a large evangelical church before finding a spiritual home in the sacramental tradition and the inclusive spiritual practices of The Episcopal Church. His background includes hospital chaplaincy with Emory Healthcare and special education with Woodcreek High School. Rev. Tom lives in Rancho Cordova with his wife, the Rev. Megan Anderson Gartin, and their son, Teddy. In his downtime, he enjoys backyard bird watching, going to Burning Man, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.

The Rev. Craig Kuehn
Associate Priest

Craig and Suzanne began attending Faith in 2018 after Craig finished an interim rector assignment at Trinity, Sutter Creek. Craig retired from full-time ministry at Our Saviour, Placerville. Craig and Suzanne continue to live in Placerville. After Our Saviour, they attended Trinity, Sutter Creek, with Craig being an associate priest there. While attending Trinity, Craig was a hospice chaplain for Snowline. Craig now serves on the Snowline Board of Directors, serving as President 2019-2021. Craig was ordained in Utah and is a graduate of CDSP in Berkeley. Prior to seminary, Craig had a computer software career. Before moving to Placerville, Craig served congregations in Utah and Northern California. Craig served on many commissions and committees in dioceses of Utah and Northern California.
Craig also volunteers in the Sierra Chaplaincy, the El Dorado County Commission on Aging, and is chaplain to the Blue Knights (LE) Motorcycle Club. Craig and Suzanne are members of the El Dorado Home Winemakers Club. If you want to be bored, ask Craig about his Negroamaro.
