Outreach
Reaching Out
Jesus reached out to many different kinds of people. Helping those in need is at the heart of our understanding of the Gospel. Reaching beyond our doors to help our neighbors – near and far – has always been a priority for Faith with ongoing projects like the Super Sunday youth-led food drive, food donations through SHARE food closet, youth involvement in Sierra Service Project, diaper donations, raising scholarship funds for students in Honduras, and supplying gifts for children in need through Catalyst Community.
Generosity
Generosity takes many forms, whether it’s in-kind donations, volunteer service, or monetary gifts. In-kind donations include filling shoeboxes with school supplies or bringing packages of diapers or dog food. Service opportunities are generally open to anyone who’s available to volunteer, regardless of age or ability. Funding for many of our outreach projects and gifts of support to our ministry partners through monetary contributions to our Missions Fund.
Monthly Missions
Together, we take part in monthly missions with opportunities for all generations to serve. Whether it’s donating needed money or items for local charities, taking time to help with a service project, or simply praying for each person as we come to know God’s abundance and love; there is always a way for us to learn more about what it means to walk in love.
You can place your donations in the outreach bin as you enter the church. Donations are brought to the altar and blessed before being sent out.
